The Mission of Solange’s Cuisine
Solange’s Cuisine is a brand of Symfonio BV. Our mission is to support organic agriculture of authentic African crops, primarily produced by women in local communities, and to promote the vibrant flavors and rich ingredients of Africa.
We aim to empower women cooperatives by providing them with sustainable livelihoods through the export of these unique specialties. This initiative ensures that the families and communities of these women benefit directly from their work.
Symfonio B.V. focuses on food products sourced from women communities in the Sahel region. Despite Africa’s potential, it remains an underappreciated source of diverse and historical crops. Many products that have origins in Africa are more commonly associated with other parts of the world like Asia and South America.
Our collaboration includes:
- Encouraging African smallholder farmers to produce organic crops.
- Providing training and resources.
- Establishing local processing industries.
- Offering financial support.
- Creating export markets for surplus production.
By connecting these farmers with global markets, we aim to foster sustainable agricultural practices and bring the rich, diverse flavors of Africa to tables worldwide.
